Top 10 Panoramic Photos
The other day I ran into this list, where someone has compiled a list of his top 10 favourite panoramas. It’s a good list, and it has some of my favourites on it too.
The one I would add to my top ten list is actually quite a terrible panorama. It’s the one I took on holiday in Portugal last September.
I shot it freehand after a few drinks. The lighting is bad, and the stitch isn’t perfect. There are however two reasons why it’s my favourite. Firstly, it was the first successful panorama that I created using CleVR (#1 was a bit of a disaster). Secondly, however, it reminds me of a fantastic holiday. That, surely, is one of the best things that a panorama can do: better than almost any other type of photo it can take you back to a favourite place.
