Broadmoor 1202 is situated directly on the Gulf of Mexico on Perdido Key. It is approximately 1/2 mile west of the Florida-Alabama state line. Orange Beach is famous for its blue water and very white, sugar-fine sand.

Flocks of gray pelicans fly very close to the Broadmoor balconies (as do some paragliders!). Until just recently, these pelicans were on the endangered species list - a fact that had escaped our notice because the great birds are so common in our area. --
