VOMAR AUTOMATES THE PROMOTION PROCESS WITH CLEVR
Supermarket organization Vomar Voordeelmarkt has opted for the Promotion Management solution from CLEVR, an expert in business application development, to automate and streamline its promotion process. The collaboration aims to make the process surrounding the weekly actions and the promotional brochure less labor-intensive and realize one version of the truth. Creating and managing the promotions is currently a manual and, therefore, error-prone process. Employees from five different departments are involved in creating a folder, from purchasing to stock management and category management. Thanks to a link between the ERP system and the Promotion Manager, Vomar can automate the process, make forecasts, and gain insight into roles and responsibilities.
Retail market knowledge
To streamline the promotion process, Vomar has obtained information from Superunie, a purchasing organization that represents thirteen independent retail organizations, including Vomar itself. Vomar eventually came into contact with CLEVR. CLEVR's proven solution, industry-specific knowledge, and pragmatic approach seamlessly matched the wishes of the supermarket. Because the project is delivered in sprints of two weeks, the development is fast, and adjustments can be made continuously.
